Best Chromebook Productivity Extensions Early Feb 2018 Edition: Day one back to using my “pure” Chromebook after successfully resetting it to the factory state condition. Resetting Chromebook can be mean two things, wait a moment to let Chrome sync itself with the cloud and manually do basic setups in order to let all extensions we installed to work properly. And that includes having to re-login to all accounts there.

If you have been with me for a while, you will notice that I’m that guy who prioritizes looks over function. If it functions good but has a bad look, then I won’t try it in the first place. On the other hand, if it’s good looking, I will at least install it once to see how things go. And that’s why I often fell into the same trap twice.

Ok, so I decided to strip most of the extensions from my Chrome web browser and left only the one I used the most and then adding new ones.

So, here is the list of Best Chromebook Productivity Extensions Early Feb 2018 Edition in random order:

Apps Launcher

Its name explains itself. Apps launcher let you launch your Chromebook Apps right from your browser. Not surprising? Well, it was quite surprised when I knew that I can launch it using a hotkey (Ctrl + .). It also allows me to do a bit of tweaking.

Black Menu for Google

At first, I thought Apps Launcher will make Black Menu for Google obsolete. In fact, no! Black Menu for Google focusing on Google related apps only, and that means a lot. It shows me the list of Google apps I’ve never heard before. And of course, it looks cool too!

What I don’t like about this app is that I have to keep signing in to all different apps.

Workspace Launcher

This one is different from both I mentioned above. This one is a Tab launcher. It allows you to customize your “home page” with only the links you need. The look? Great!
